I’m stunned. I’m gutted. I’m sad…but not why you think…

I am a huge supporter of Hillary Clinton. I have been since the 90s. When I was a journalism major in college I had an opportunity to witness one of her speeches in person. I was about 10 feet away from her in the press box while she was talking about women’s right (of all things.)

I remember feeling a rush of divine feminine power emanating from her like a sonic boom. I thought to myself, “What is that and how do I get some of that?”

She was the first woman I had encountered that was fierce and wasn’t afraid to show it. She fucking owned it and wielded like a superpower.

It was a magical moment for me and I wouldn’t be doing what I do now if it wasn’t for that strange and beautiful experience.

So, ya. I was deeply connected to the idea of Clinton being Madame President. This is a very personal loss for me and I’m trying to not to lose sight that the Universe has a divine plan – for whatever reason Trump is a part of it. :/

I don’t feel this my country needs his kind of change. It will set us back years…and it caters to the white male patriarchy which is no longer the ruler, energetically. The energy is shifting and I think this is election was a desperate grab for something that can’t be replaced.

Change is a bitch.

That’s why this statistic boggles me and frankly, makes me feel really…I don’t know the word is…but sad doesn’t cover it. It’s anguish. It’s horrifying.

53% of white WOMEN voted for Trump.

Let that sink in…

Here’s why it’s horrifying.

That means that over half of the white women in the country think that how Trump treats women is normal.

They are okay with being treated like second-class citizens.

They are okay with their pussies being grabbed.

They are okay with being paid less.

They are okay with being trophies.

They are okay with being told how to look.

They are okay with being told how to feel (or not to feel.)

They are okay with being mansplained.

Because they think that’s how it’s supposed to be. They’ve accepted the reality that they don’t matter. They don’t even realize that they’ve given up their power because they feel like they never had it in the first place.

A woman, like Clinton, who has no problem wielding her power and speaking her mind – I’m sure that’s hugely problematic…and threatening.

I’m sure it brings up all kinds of shadow issues…

So, I get it.

I understand it…

It doesn’t have to be that way.

We HAVE power, ladies.

The divine feminine gives us the power of creation.

It gives us the power of emotions.

It gives us the power of intuition.

It gives us the power of abundance.

And it sure as hell gives us the power to change and heal the world.

This is not the time to stand on the sidelines with your head down. This is not the time to admit defeat. The battle has barely begun…

Hopefully, this weird turn of events has stirred something deep inside of you.

Hopefully, it’s awakened the warrior in you.

Hopefully, it’s got you wondering how you can be a change agent.

Here’s how…

By heeding the call.

By being a leader.

By speaking your voice.

By healing Mother Earth with your witchy magick.

Nobody can take your POWER away from you.

This is the time to STAND proud in who you are.

The world needs your gifts of healing and intuition more than EVER. We’ve got a long road ahead of us. I’ve never seen so much shock and sadness. I can feel the rift in the energy field. I can feel the dismay and the fear.

So, as awakened women, it’s our duty to be doulas to the country and to the world. To guide it, to nurture it, to heal it and to protect it.

This is the time that we channel the new energy of the divine feminine.
